If a payment is late, interest can be added to the invoice as a penalty.
By default, a small interest rate applies to overdue invoices. You can change this rate—or turn it off completely—under Income → Invoice settings. The rate can be adjusted within a set range to fit your needs, or set to 0% if you don’t want to charge interest at all.
